Edgemaster

Designed to automatically shape and polish marble and granite. It is the only edge polishing machine designed and built in Australia.

Composition

The Edgemaster is comprises of a monolithic table which has been designed and built to obtain increased strength machined completely (top and front face) to obtain flat and square surface which are essential for the correct operation of the machine.

Hidden behind the top covers are six pistons that can be moved left to right for desired clamping position of the work piece. The whole clamping beam can be moved back away from the edge of the table in order to load and unload the machine with ease.

A major innovation of this model is the addition of stainless steel front bearing guides for the movement of the trolley. This allows for quick and easy maintenance and rust control.

The machine can be supplied with a manual tool change or six automatic magazines. By travelling forward and reverse and stepping through the 180 degree curve the machine is able to create full bull-nose, flat, pencil-round and many other profiles to highly polished standards.

The stepping increment sizes are all displayed on the touch screen, which prompts you with the desired stone step. The number of passes for each increment can be selected by the operator and is stored in memory for future use. The angular size of the increment step is also selected with the same screen. The machine comes as a complete unit and only needs water, air and electrical connection.
